Terms & Conditions

Who we are

Zeralin is a trading name of Syzero (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/531676/07), a private company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa. Contact support@syzero.ai. Registered office address available on written request. Before you pay you are shown a summary of your order and its full price, and you can correct any error or withdraw before you confirm. A full record of your order is kept in the confirmation we email you (section 43 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, ECTA).

These terms and your statutory rights

These terms govern every purchase on this website, and by placing an order you accept them. Nothing in them waives, limits or overrides any right you have under South African consumer law — including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and ECTA — and any provision that tries to is void to that extent (CPA section 51; ECTA section 48). We use plain language so an ordinary consumer can understand these terms (CPA section 22).

Prices, currency and taxes

All prices are quoted and charged in South African Rand (ZAR). The price shown at checkout is the full price for the goods; delivery is quoted separately before you confirm payment. Prices include applicable taxes. If a genuine pricing error occurs we may correct it and, if you have paid, refund you or let you proceed at the correct price (section 43).

Orders and when the contract forms

Products are imported on order. You make an offer when you place your order; the contract forms when we confirm the order by email. We may decline or limit an order — for example where stock is unavailable — and if an item becomes unavailable after you order, we tell you promptly and you choose a replacement or a full refund.

Payment and payment security

Payments are card payments processed in ZAR through our bank-accredited payment provider with 3-D Secure over a secure payment system (section 43). We never see or store your full card number. Your order is accepted only once payment is authorised.

Delivery and performance

Delivery is door-to-door in South Africa and tracked throughout; the full detail is in our Delivery Policy. We execute your order within 30 days of receiving it unless we agree otherwise with you, and if we cannot supply we refund any payment within 30 days (ECTA section 46). Risk and ownership pass to you on delivery (CPA section 19).

Cancelling before sourcing (12-hour window)

As an operational courtesy — separate from your statutory rights below — you may cancel an order within 12 hours of placing it, for any reason, for a full refund, because we have not yet placed the supplier order. This is an order-cancellation window, not a statutory return. Use the cancel link in your confirmation email or email support@syzero.ai with your order number.

Your cooling-off right (online orders)

Because you buy over the internet, you may cancel your purchase without reason and without penalty within 7 (seven) days after the date you receive the goods (ECTA section 44). On cancellation we refund the full amount you paid within 30 days; the only charge you bear is the direct cost of returning the goods. This does not apply to the goods excluded by ECTA section 42(2). See the Refund & Return Policy.

Quality, defects and refunds

Every item carries the implied warranty of quality in CPA section 55 and section 56: if within 6 months of delivery goods are not of good quality, not in good working order, defective or not reasonably suitable for their intended purpose, you may return them at our risk and expense and choose repair, replacement or a full refund. These rights are non-waivable and are set out in the Refund & Return Policy.

Electronic communications

You consent to transacting and receiving notices from us electronically. Data messages, electronic agreements and electronic signatures are valid and enforceable under ECTA, and a data message is deemed received when it enters the information system you designated.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, graphics, logos, product images and trade marks — is owned by or licensed to Syzero (Pty) Ltd and protected by law. You may use it only to browse and shop on this site; you may not copy, reproduce or exploit it without our written consent.

Acceptable use

Use this site only for lawful purposes. You may not use it fraudulently, attempt unauthorised access, scrape or harvest data, infringe anyone's rights, or interfere with the site's operation. We may suspend access for breach.

Limitation of liability

IMPORTANT — please read (CPA section 49). To the maximum extent the law permits, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or the goods, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. This does NOT limit or exclude our liability under CPA section 61 for harm caused by unsafe or defective goods or inadequate warnings, nor our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for gross negligence, or for fraud, and nothing here waives your statutory rights (CPA section 51).

Force majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, load-shedding, network or courier failures, or government action; performance is suspended for the duration of the event.

Complaints and dispute resolution

Please first contact us at support@syzero.ai so we can resolve your complaint. If it is not resolved, you may refer the matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (cgso.org.za), a consumer court, or the National Consumer Commission. Nothing in these terms limits your right to use these forums.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and your CPA and ECTA rights apply regardless of any contrary clause (ECTA section 47). You agree that the Magistrates' Court having jurisdiction over you may hear any dispute (section 45, Magistrates' Courts Act 32 of 1944), without limiting our right to approach a higher court or your right to refer the matter to a consumer court, ombud or the National Consumer Commission.

Changes and severability

We may amend these terms from time to time; the version published when you place an order applies to that order. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it is severed and the rest remain in full force.
